After my last post on e.e. cummings, I thought it would be fun to look up some other artwork from other famous writers and creative types. Luckily, I hit a goldmine. Rather unluckily, most of them are awesome. Not good for a crappy kid art website.
Take for instance, Sylvia Plath, who wrote one of my favorite books, The Bell Jar:
She drew these when she was 8 and 9 years old. What the hell Sylvia Plath? You’re an awesome author and artist? Sometimes life just isn’t fair.
Apparently the Brontë Sisters had a fabulous time entertaining one another with intricate drawings when they were young, according to Print Magazine.
At least George Orwell, author of Animal Farm and 1984, didn’t let us down. A plane dropping easter eggs? Then Obvious Kid in the back says, “It’s Easter”. Thanks kid, we didn’t know from the giant sack that says easter eggs.
